With the financial support of the European Union and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian Association of Mental Health is conducting a six-day training program for psychologists working in general education institutions under the title:
“Organizing the Activities of the Psychologist in a General Education Institution.”

Goals of the Training

• To contribute to the development of the professional competencies of psychologists in the field of education.
   
• To promote the active role of psychologists within the educational environment and strengthen their involvement in relationships between schools and communities.
   
• To support psychologists in effectively responding to students’ difficulties and teachers’ concerns.
   

Within the framework of the program, approximately 1,400 psychologists from general education institutions across Armenia’s regions and the capital city will receive training.

The training sessions began in 2024 and will be completed by 2026.

The program “Rights, Services, Participation: Promoting a Comprehensive Mental Health Framework in Armenia” is funded by the European Union and implemented by:

in partnership with the “Disability Rights Agenda” Human Rights NGO.
